Skin Care 101

A few notes on daily skin care...

Taking care of your skin can be very simple!  The three main steps are cleansing, exfoliating and moisurizing.

A cleanser suited for your skin type should be massaged in twice a day to help breakup dirt, debri and oil which gets trapped in the pores; rinse off with a face cloth to help exfoliate the skin.

It is important to exfoliate the skin once or twice a week to remove dead skin cells that can dull your complexion.  Exfoliation helps unplug pores and keeps the skin smooth and clear.  Massage your exfoliant in using a circular motion and rinse off with sponges or a face cloth.

Moisturize twice a day to soften and hydrate.  Apply a layer of moisturizer over the entire face and neck area.  Even oily skin needs a light moisturizer to keep the skin soft and supple.

A few notes on extra treatments for the skin...

Eminence toners are packed with aromatherapy using fruits and herbs to balance the natural PH level and infuse your skin with natural vitamins and minerals; they help to increase product penetration as well as exfoliate the skin using beta-hydroxy acids.

Masks are used to treat the skin for specific concerns, such as lack of firmness, acne or rosacea.  When used consistently, once or twice per week they can dramatically increase the health of your skin.

Eminence sermus and oils have the highest concentration and absorption, using liposome technology to deliver active vitamins and nutriants into the deeper layers of the skin.  They are applied as the last step before moisturizing after your skin is cleansed and toned.  Although optional, once you experience the clarifying, hydrating and age-defying benefits of this step you will want to continue to include this essential step in your regime.

Protect your skin with Eminence organic minerals SPF 30, or using their daily moisturizers with a choice of SPF 16, 25, or 32.
